Young musician to play at Carnegie Hall
Thursday, February 17, 2011 – The Philadelphia Youth Orchestra's lead harpist has received a prestigious invitation. She's only a 9th grader, and will be performing this spring at New York's Carnegie Hall.The song is "Impromptu" by Hugo Reinhold. Helen is one of 15 finalists in the nation, chosen by the public in an on-line contest, offering young musicians an opportunity to perform in a Carnegie Hall Family Concert.
