Please join us in celebrating the 71st Anniversary of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra! We will be hosting our annual Gala on Friday, March 12, 2010, at The Union League in Philadelphia, and hope we can count on your support. The Gala plays a pivotal role in sustaining the many programs of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra (PYO) program.
The mission of the PYO is several-fold: to educate young instrumentalists; share its musical vision with the public; and train tomorrow's music and community leaders. This year, we have a record-breaking 300 students participating in one or more of the ensembles that fall under the PYO program umbrella. These include two full orchestras, three string orchestras, and two brass ensembles.
Your support is critical. The Gala is our major fundraising event, and the Gala's success depends on your participation through sponsorship. Please take this opportunity to become a Gala Sponsor, and complete the attached form containing sponsorship pledges.

Invitations to the Gala will be mailed in late January. We kindly request your completed sponsorship form by December 5, 2009 so that we may list your name as a sponsor on the invitation. We hope you will join us and Maestro Louis Scaglione, the Music Director and Conductor of the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, as we celebrate our 70th Anniversary on March 12.
