On Friday, March 23, 2007, the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra will host its premier fundraising Gala at The Union League of Philadelphia. Part of this year's proceeds will benefit the Tuition Remission and Financial Aid Fund.

Founded in 1939, the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra, one of the finest youth orchestras in the nation, continues to provide extraordinary music education to gifted young instrumentalists from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Through its educational and music activities, the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra program promotes and encourages students' creativity and energy, and trains tomorrow's leaders.
