- Bravo Brass auditions are open to student brass and percussion players ranging in age from 12 through 21 years.
- Students are placed by the artistic staff in one of two ensembles according to musical ability, maturity and experience.
Annual tuition for the 2008-2009 season is $965.00. A non-refundable $225.00 deposit is due at the time an accepted student registers for the Bravo Brass program. Tuition balance is due by the first rehearsal of the concert season.
Tuition remission is available for those accepted students who demonstrate financial need. Applications are available upon request. Please contact the PYO office at info@pyos.org or 215.545.0502 for more information.

To schedule an audition:
Step 1: Please complete the online registration form. Contact the office only if you are unable to register online due to technical reasons at bravobrass@pyos.org or 215.435.1698.
Step 2: Everyone who auditions is required to print a Bravo Brass Audition Form, complete it, and bring it to the audition. Click here to download the form.

Audition Requirements
- All players are required to play their choice of a solo or two contrasting etudes. In addition, each player must perform the required excerpts for their instrument. Please download the required excerpts below.
- Horn (PDF File)

- Trumpet players must be comfortable transposing C trumpet parts.
- Trombonists must read bass and tenor clefs.
- Percussionists should play timpani, snare drum and xylophone, and be able, if requested, to play cymbals and bass drum.
